Aerostar is the sole manufacturer of aviation hydraulics in Romania for all types of aircraft manufactured in Romania, operating under licence or through in-house development of these systems.
In the field of landing gear and hydraulic systems, Aerostar is part of the SAFRAN Landing Systems supply, chain delivering complete products including full mechanical and hydraulic assemblies as well as testing.
The company has advanced capabilities in CNC machining, with 3-4-5 axis, processing parts made of aluminium alloys, steel, stainless steel, bronze, titanium.
Our main programmes include: landing gears for TBM 700/850, actuators for the Airbus 320 and Airbus 330, parts kits for A320, SuperPuma, F7X, SWP kits for the Boeing 787, Airbus 330/340, Airbus 350; also, a wide range of actuators for the Dassault F7X program.
Aerostar’s Special Processes Centre provides a wide range of surface coatings, painting, heat treatments, shot peening, welding, as well as non-destructive testing and inspections.
Aerostar deliveries comply with the applicable requirements of the REACH Regulations concerning the registration, evaluation and restriction of chemical substances.
Aerostar holds NADCAP accreditation for a broad range of special processes, as well as customer-specific approvals and qualifications.
