Grigore Filip is the President of the Board of Directors of AEROSTAR S.A.

Grigore Filip started working at AEROSTAR S.A. in 1981 and held several operational and management positions, such as Head of the Aircraft Repair Facility, MiG-21 Aircraft Modernization Program Director, Executive Director of the Technical Directorate, and General Director of the Systems Division.

From 1998 to March 2024, he held the position of General Director of AEROSTAR S.A.

Since 2019, he has been an Honorary Member of the Academy of Technical Sciences of Romania.

Born in Roman, Neamț, in 1954, he graduated from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, the Faculty of Aeronautics, in 1979.

He completed various business and management courses and programmes in Romania and abroad.
