He graduated from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, the Finance & Accounting Faculty, in 1986.

He joined Aerostar S.A. Bacău in 1986 and held various operational and management positions, such as Head of Accounting and Head of Financial Department, during his 30 years of activity.

Since 2000, he has held the positions of Vice President of the Board of Directors and Financial-Accounting Director.

He completed various business and financial management courses and programmes, and is a member of the Professional Association of Chartered Accountants of Romania (CECCAR).
