AEROSTAR S.A. has produced and integrated electronic, communication, and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) systems for aerial, ground, and naval platforms. The IFF equipment includes interrogators, transponders, antennas, key loaders, crypto-computers, and control panels. Integrations were carried out compatible with MK XII A (Mod 1, Mod 2, Mod 3/A, Mod C, Mod 4, Mod S – for aerial platforms, with provisions for future extension to Mod 5).
The company has designed, qualified, and manufactured IFF control panels, and integrated IFF systems across various ground, aerial, and naval platforms, including frigates and destroyers.
Additionally, autonomous IFF platforms were developed, with ground interrogators for long-range operation, capable of simultaneous operation with multiple radars from a single location or autonomous functioning.
The company provides ongoing maintenance and repair services for general electronic equipment and avionics used in operational products, as well as communication system integration. Aerostar also manufactures electronic subassemblies for airborne and ground equipment, with or without embedded software — such as control panels, antenna rotation systems, wired interrogator chassis, power supplies, and dedicated interfaces.
With proven capabilities and expertise, Aerostar has specialized in the repair and modernization of ground-based radar stations, covering both short- and long-range detection systems currently in service.
