AEROSTAR has been the ROMANIAN GOVERNMENT-DESIGNATED MAINTENANCE CENTRE for F-16 aircraft since 2018. Over the past 7 years, significant investments, training, and experience gained through work performed on the Romanian Ministry of National Defence’s F-16 aircraft have laid the foundation for a centre with extensive capabilities:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Structural and component repairs
- Upgrades to international standards
Close cooperation with Lockheed Martin has enabled the development of the necessary capabilities for AEROSTAR to become a REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTRE for these aircraft.
Currently, AEROSTAR has the capacity to work simultaneously on up to 6 aircraft, with options to expand its capabilities in the future.
We are proud to announce the reintegration into the operational service of the Romanian Air Force of a new F-16 aircraft, following the successful completion of the maintenance process carried out at Aerostar.
